ABOUT THE PROJECT

Today’s students have grown up online, so they have been told the basics, such as creating strong passwords and protecting personal information. However, they may not understand why. By explaining how hackers obtain passwords and other information, it will help students understand the importance of this basic security skill. Additionally, students should be taught how to deal with cyber bullies By going through the basics and showing real-life examples of how cyber crimes hurt, students will have a better grasp of cyber security. This project is a continuation of our "Get Cyber Skilled and Prevent Cyber Bullying" eTwinning project.

aims of the project

- To create a safe environment for students in a cyber world with unlimited information flow and to improve technology make them use.

- To provide students with the necessary competencies to protect themselves in social media and internet environment.

- To encourage teachers and administrators to cyber security education.

- To increase the ICT and digital competence of students.

- To gain critical thinking skills for the validity and reliability of a content on the internet.

- To gain the competence to what cyberbullying is and to combat cyberbullies.

- To understand the rights and responsibilities of digital identity, digital ethics and digital citizenship.

- To recognize malicious content and social engineering methods and gain the ability to take precautions.

- To learn internet and social media literacy.

- To create secure passwords and ensuring confidentiality of personal data.

- To develop students' intercultural learning skills, to enable them to get to know different cultures.

 

Our project is aimed enable students to get cyber skilled and to make aware of online threats and teach basic cybersecurity skills. Pupils who acquire these skills will be able to protect themselves from cyber crimes and cyberbullying They will Another goal of the project is to inform them about social engineers and cyberbullying.

 

Students will:
• deepen knowledge about social engineering;
• learn what is privacy and why is it important?
• be aware of cyberbullying and learn how to deal with cyber bullies.
• be more aware of online threats ;
• acquire basic security skills;
•learn to create strong passwords ;
•learn to backup everything that is important ;
•learn when people are most likely to be victim of social engineering;
• be able to present their work at school and for the local community.

Teachers will:
• broaden their world outlook, will have the opportunity to work in an international team;
• be able to share their experience and best practices;
• acquire intercultural
 knowledge.

Making slogans for " safer internet day".Preparing posters fort his day. Informing peers about privacy rules Preparıng security avareness posters with canva or postermywall…Making word clouds with the key words of privacy.
Getting avareness about cyberbullying. Learning how to avoid cyberbullies and preparing videos about cyberbullying.
-Informing peers about social engineering.
Exploring real life examples of social engineering and preparing videos,presentations. Preparıng security avareness posters about social engineering with web 2.0 tools like postermywall, canva
-Five rules about passwords security everyone should follow. Preparing infographics . Watching videos about passwords.
-Sharing the works and pr which will be done in the Erasmus project
-Creating an e-book from the photos and activities we have at the end of the Projects

6 mobility (LTT activities) will be carried out throughout the project. Time Schedule of the Project:

 1st Mobility in Turkey November 2021 /2 teachers from each partner

  2nd Mobility in Portugal  April 2022 /4 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner

  3rd Mobility in Italy May 2022 /4  Pupils 2 teachers from each partner

 4th Mobility in Spain  October 2022 /4 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner

 5th Mobility in Greece Februrary 2023 /  4 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner

  6th Mobility in Spain April 2023/4 Pupils 2 teachers from each partner

-ebook about malicious content, social engeneering and vulnerabilities  in the internet of things (IOT)

-Multilingual  guidebook about safer use of internet

-Video which includes sketches and dramatization activities of students about cyberbullying.
